GRANT PROGRAM
We still have grant money available!  Any current MISHO member is eligible for $50 toward any clinic in which they are riding.  Your only requirement is to volunteer 2 hours at any not-for profit organization and write an article for this newsletter about what you learned. See the Grant Program page for further details and a grant application.

MISHO'S NIGHT AT THE RACES

MISHO Hosted a trophy race at Fairmount Park Racetrack on July 6.  Board Member Cindy Medina, a former jockey, took the group on a behind-the scenes tour, which included watching a race from the top of the stretch and touring a racing barn.  Cindy shared her experiences and insights.  A fun time was had by all!

Welcome to Mid-Illinois Sport Horse Organization! MISHO brings together hunter, jumper, dressage, eventing and sport horse enthusiasts to provide educational opportunities that promote horsemanship skills and to promote and govern shows that provide a fair and equitable competition for our members while promoting safety and sportsmanship at all times.
